Callaway has leveled up on its range of golf GPS devices with the uPro MX.

Callaway is known for developing golf sporting equipment and has been ranked as one of the best brands in the industry. It has developed some of the most notable golf sporting equipment, such as the Big Bertha and X series. Its subsidiaries include Odyssey Golf, Ben Hogan, and Top-Flite.

Callaway entered the market for golf GPS devices with the classic uPro, which had features that impressed golfers. It had a FlyOver feature, which allowed them to have a clear picture of the green complex, as well as the hazards around the green. It also gave them the precise distance from the tee to the green and had a transreflective LCD screen, which let them see the data clearly, without squinting or going under a shade.

The company upgraded the uPro to the uPro Go by putting enhanced features and functionality. It was half the price of the uPro, as it cost only $149 compared to the $300 price of the uPro classic, and had a Green View functionality, which allowed golfers to get a more vivid picture of the course, for a one-time fee of $50. It also came with 18,000 courses readily available for download and use. It also had a Hazard View functionality, which let golfers see the hazards that they had to go against to get to the green.

Both uPro and uPro Go had some shortcomings, which golfers wished the company would address. Some golfers complained about encountering difficulties in syncing their devices with certain OS and computer models. Moreover, there were some features, which one model did not share with the other. This created a dilemma for golfers who wanted the functionality of one model, but who also found some of the features of the other model quite useful.

Callaway addressed their clients' concerns by bringing together the best of both the uPro and the uPro Go to create the uPro MX. This newest model has both the uPro's Basic Mode and the uPro Go's Green View Mode. It has also been pre-loaded with 25,000 courses in various locations around the US and Canada. It also has a Multi-Gesture touch screen, which has the same interface as a smartphone that will allow golfers to switch from one application to another with just a touch of their fingertips.

Since the earlier uPro models were not equipped with a scoring functionality, the uPro MX comes with a trademark Scoring Plus program that will allow golfers to record scores and take notes on their performance, so they can compare with their peers' performance. This program can store a maximum of 50 rounds at a time, but the website, where the user can upload his scoring data, can store an unlimited number of rounds.

It's supposed to have a downloadable Pro Mode feature that will allow golfers to view high resolution photos of the course. Unfortunately, it is currently unavailable, as the developers of the uPro MX are still upgrading their systems. Golfers who have recently purchased the uPro MX can leave their email addresses, so the company can notify them once the site is working.

Overall, Callaway did a good job with the uPro MX and their loyal
